SAT. 28 JANUARY, 2023-theGBJournal| The Independent National Electoral Commission has extended the collection of Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) in all local government areas by additional one week, yielding to pressure from across the political spectrum and Nigerians in general to extend the exercise.
The exercise is now scheduled to end on 5th February 2023, and this will be the second time the Commission will be extending PVC collection nationwide.
The Commission says ”this will be the last extension of the exercise.”
It also extended the collection period further by an additional two hours and that is expected to start at 9.00 am and end at 5.00 pm daily including Saturdays and Sundays.
