TUE APRIL 15 2025-theGBJournal| In a groundbreaking move toward a digitally empowered future, Monday, the Delta State Ministry of Science and Technology received the Preliminary Draft of the Delta State Digital Policy.
Co-created by the state government and the Delta Tech Ecosystem, the policy sets the foundation for transformative digital infrastructure, innovation and inclusive governance
The unveiling which held at the Delta State Secretariat in Asaba, signals a strategic shift toward inclusive, tech-driven development in line with the MORE Agenda of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
Described as a new dawn by Odinigwe Daniel Odigwe, Commissioner for Science and Technology, the policy aligns with the broader vision of the Delta Tech Experience, a platform focused on youth empowerment, investor engagement, and building a globally competitive tech ecosystem.
He called on private sector partners, development agencies, and the diaspora to collaborate in advancing a smarter, innovative Delta.
