AKURE, SEPTEMBER 3, 2016 – Gunshots rocked The Dome, venue of the primary election of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Akure, Ondo state.
It is not clear if security personnel were behind the shots, or suspected political thugs.
The incident almost led to the disruption of the exercise, which had been peaceful since over three hours ago when voting started.
