Governor Ganduje to chair APC’s high-level national campaign council for Edo election

THUR, JULY 02 2020-theG&BJournal- The All Progressives Congress (APC) Caretaker/Extra-Ordinary National Planning Committee (NPC) have handed the Governor of Kano State, Dr Abdullahi U. Ganduje the mandate to chair the party’s high-level National Campaign Council for the Edo State Governorship election billed for September this year.
‘’The Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma will serve as deputy chairman and Hon. Abbas Braimoh, as secretary of the 49-member APC National Campaign Council,’’ the party said in a statement released Thursday by the National Publicity Secretary, Yekini Nabena.
The party said the move followed the approval for the constitution of a National Campaign Council for the 19th September 2020 Governorship election, by the National Chairman of the APC Caretaker/Extra-Ordinary National Convention Planning Committee, Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni.
The Campaign Council will be inaugurated on Monday 6th July 2020 at the party’s National Secretariat.
Senate Deputy President, Ovie Omo-Agege, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, Senator Orji Kalu, Roachas Okorocha, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Godswill Akpabio and Minister of State for Petroleum Timipre Sylva among other notable APC personalities, will serve as members the Committee.
