FRI, OCT 06 2023-theGBJournal|The Federal Government (FGN) Series VI Sovereign Sukuk of N150 billion Offer is now open and is scheduled to close on Wednesday, 11 October 2023.
The The Debt Management Office (DMO) commenced the issuance of Sovereign Sukuk in September 2017 as part of its strategic initiative to support the development of critical infrastructure, promote financial inclusion and deepen the domestic securities market.
The minimum subscription is placed at N10, 000 at N1,000 per unit and in multiples of N1,000 thereafter.
As with previous issuances, the proceeds of the Issue will be used to finance the rehabilitation and construction of road projects and bridges across the six geo-political zones and Federal Capital Territory by the implementing agencies of the Federal Government.
