FRI, MAY. 12 2023-theGBJournal |A Federal High Courts sitting in Abuja today confirmed Lamidi Apapa as the Labour Party Nigeria acting National Chairman, pending any other court order.
Earlier, an FCT state High Court presideing judge refused to decline jurisdiction on the martter brought by Apapa and co against Labour Party and Julius Abure and co. Judge ruled that he will go ahead to hear the substantive matter.
The matter has been adjourned to Friday, May 19 for further delibration.
Labour Party said in a statement that they will be appealing the rulinf ”because we know we will not get justice from the court.
Labour Party insists Barrister Julius Abure remains its National Chairman pending the final determination of the matter.
