Federal Executive Council approves N27.5 trillion expenditure for 2024

MON, NOV 27 2023-theGBJournal|Nigeria’s Federal Executive Council (FEC) on Monday approved N27.5 trillion aggregate expenditure, the Appropriation Bill, to fund the Federal Government in 2024.

The Federal Government, in the Bill, is also targeting N18 trillion as revenue.

The Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Atiku Bagudu, revealed the funding plan, and hinted it will be Presented to the National Assembly by President Bola Tinubu by Wednesday.

The Minister said the FEC also approved the revised 2024-26 Medium-Term Expenditure Framework, earlier approved by the National Assembly which would be submitted along with the 2024 budget.

The FEC meeting was presided by President Tinubu
