THUR, FEBRUARY 9 2017-The G&B Journal had a brief chat with the Principal Consultant, Cynthia Oye of Procot management concept. Procot management concept is a management consultancy outfit with the key objective of helping organizations ensure they have high level productivity, as well as helping individuals realize that self development is key.
The G&B Journal: How long have you been consulting?
Cynthia Oye: Combining formal and informal consultancy, I started in 2010 by helping my friends who were entrepreneurs at the time. Thanks to the help I gave to my friends I realised I was passionate about fixing things, talking and giving value to other people.
The G&B Journal: What Services do Procot management concept render?
Cynthia Oye: Human capital consulting, assisting organizations to recruit qualified persons, training packages in customer services, leadership and general office management, marketing consulting and business plans/feasibility study for organizations.
The G&B Journal: You started out with paid employment, now you are an entrepreneur, in all honesty which will you say is your preferred choice?
Cynthia Oye: If you had asked me this question five years ago I probably would have quickly said paid employment, because I enjoyed consistent earnings while in paid employment.
But having being an entrepreneur for awhile, I have matured in reasoning and I understand the process, so any day entrepreneurship will be it for me.
The G&B Journal: How do you get clients?
Cynthia Oye: Due to our efficient service delivery principal at Procot management concept, we get clients mostly through referrals.
The G&B Journal: What is the future of Procot management concept?
Cynthia Oye: We aspire to be one of the Top ranking consultancy firms in Nigeria.
The G&BJournal: What is your advice to fresh graduates?
Cynthia Oye: While waiting to get a job, you can start something and build your experience, considering most companies always ask for a minimum of two years experience, and take control of your life and understand that your ultimate growth and success depends on you.
