THUR MAY 16 2024-theGBJournal|The Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo Wednesday hinted on the possible resumption of Emirates Airline flight to Nigeria after a long absence.
Keyamo said on his X handle that, the Ambassador of the UAE to Nigeria, Salem Saeed Al-Shamsi handed him a correspondence from the Emirates Airline indicating a definite date of their resumption of flights to Nigeria when he paid him a working visit.
”That date will be formally announced by Emirates Airlines in a matter of days,” Keyamo assured.
The airline suspended its flights to Nigeria last November at height of Nigeria’s severe dollar scarcity as well as weakening Naira, siting trapped revenue of $85 million as main reason.
