THUR, JUNE 29 2023-theGBJournal |Both highly successful entrepreneurs are getting in shape for the cage match that has captivated since the facebook boss, a jiu jitsu lover, tweeted earlier this month that he was looking for a rival.
Musk took up the challenge, posting on his twitter handle ”send me location.” The idea of the fight quickly gained global attention.
”Its inspiring to see both Elon and Mark taking on a martial arts journey,” tweeted podcaster Lex Fridmen earlier in the week.
Fridmen recently shared a video of he and Mark Zuckerberg training jiu jitsu and said he is looking forward to training with Elon Musk as well.
That training eventually took place Wednesday, in an ”impromptu” session for a few hours.
”I’m extremely impressed with his strength, power and skill, on the feet and on the ground. It was epic,” tweeted Fridman, who added two photos of he and Musk grappling on the mat.
The fight itself has drawn the attention of the UFC world with the President of the American mixed martial arts promotion company, Dana White suggesting the Vagan Octagon as the venue of choice, implying an actual fight is in the making.
