…arrested, indicted and pleads not guilty to 34 counts felony charges

TUE. 04 APRIL 2023-theGBJournal | Former US President Donald Trump today appeared in a Manhattan courtroom for his arraignment on criminal charges after he was arrested and processed as a criminal defendant including having his fingerprints taken.

He becomes the first US president in history to face criminal charges. He was seen sitting next to his lawyers to hear the charges against him which includes falsifying business records.

Reports say Trump was silent and did not speak to the press before entering the courtroom to be arraigned before Judge Juan Manuel Merchan.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is prosecuting the case against Trump and he was also seen entering the courtroom today.

Reports suggest Bragg decided there was no need to handcuff the 76-year through the mugshot process.

Neither the current US President Joe Biden nor the White House have commented on the indictment and arrest in New York.
