….Gets chieftaincy title
TUE, DECEMBER 25 2018-theG&BJournal-Delta State Commissioner for Information, Ogbueshi Patrick Ukah, has given out Christmas packages to Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) members in Oshimili North Local Government Council of Delta State.
Ogbueshi Ukah said that the gesture was to appreciate the members for their steadfastness and continued support for the administration of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and the PDP.
He charged the members not to waver in their determination to vote for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for President, Senator Barr. Peter Nwaoboshi for Senate, Hon. Ndudi Elumelu for House of Representatives and Hon. Pat Ajudua for House of Assembly.
Ogbueshi Ukah urged them to vote for the Governor for a second term in office as a show of appreciation for his developmental strides in the local government.
While wishing them a happy Christmas and new year in advance, the Information Commissioner disclosed that a vote for Governor Okowa and other PDP candidates will be a vote for more meaningful developments in different parts of the state.
Some of the beneficiaries who spoke after the presentation poured encomiums on Ogbueshi Ukah for the gesture and promised to continue to support the present administration, promising that will remain resolute in their determination to return Governor Okowa for a second tenure.
Party Leaders and faithful received chickens and bags of rice, while the women were given wrappers during the ceremony held in Opkanam, Oshimili North Local Government Council.
Meanwhile, Ogbueshi Patrick Ukah, will on Thursday, December 27, 2018 be conferred with the chieftaincy title of The Enyi 1 of Okpanam Kingdom by the Ugoani of Okpanam, His Royal Majesty, Mbanefo Michael Ogbolu.
The conferment ceremony will take place a the palace of the Ugoani by 11am, while reception of guests will follow immediately at the residence of the Commissioner in Okpanam.
The State Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, will be the Special Guest of Honour, while the Senator representing Delta North Senatorial District in the National Assembly and the Ide of Okpanam, Barr. Peter Nwaoboshi, is expected to be the Guest of Honour.
