TUE APRIL 23 2024-theGBJournal| Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced fresh reduction in the prices of diesel and aviation fuel to N940 and N980 per litre respectively, the third major reduction in less than three weeks.
The new prices comes barely two weeks after the refiner cut the prices of the products down to N1000.
According to a statement released by the company’s Head of Communication, Anthony Chiejina, diesel customers buying up to five million litres and above will enjoy the new price regime.
Similarly aviation fuel customers will pay the new price when they purchase 1 million litres and above.
Chiejina noted that the new price aligns with the company’s commitment to cushion the effect of the economic hardship in Nigeria.
He also confirmed that Dangote Refinery has entered into a strategic partnership with MRS Oil and Gas stations to ensure consumers get to buy fuel at affordable price in all their stations, anywhere in the country.
He added that the partnership will be extended to other major oil marketers.
