MON DEC 01 2025-theGBJournal| Dangote Refinery said Sunday it is committed, able and ready to 1.5 billion litres of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS or Petrol) per month, equivalent of 50 million litres/day this December and January 2026, to the domestic market.

The world’s largest single train refinery adds that the plan is to increase supply to 1.7 billion per month-equivalent of 57 million litres/day from February 2026 onwards.

”We seek your support to host Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) onsite at our refinery from 1st December to validate and publish our daily supply volumes,” Dangote Refinery CEO David Bird, said in a letter sent to the NMDPRA Chief Executive.

”In the spirit of full transparency to the public we are willing to publish our daily production and stock volumes (online and print media).

Dangote refinery equally sought the full support of NMDPRA to allow it import its crude, feedstocks and blending components unhindered as well as support the lifting of its products by vessel.

”We continue to experience delays in vessel clearance which impacts not only the refinery operations but also our customers, adding unnecessary costs and inefficiencies” CEO Bird said.

Bird told the authorities to consider and support Dangote Refinery, ”to secure Nigeria’s fuel security and abundance.”
