COVID-19 Nigeria: Lagos discharges 48 more patients after successful treatment

THUR, MAY 07 2020-theG&BJournal-The Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu today announced the discharge of additional 48 coronavirus infected patients from its treatment facilities across the state.
Among the discharged patients are 32 males and 16 females, all Nigerians who were discharged from the Yaba, Lekki, Onikan and Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) Isolation facilities.
‘’With this new development, the number of COVID-19 confirmed cases that have been successfully managed and discharged in Lagos stands at 406,’’ Sanwo-Olu said.
Before this development, Lagos had a total of 1,303 confirmed cases of coronavirus, more than double the figure of the rest of the country.
