SAT, MARCH 28 2020-theG&BJournal-Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Africa looks like it is racing to catch up with the rest of the world’s as the number of diagnosed cases changes rapidly every day.
46 countries are reporting a total of 3,924 COVID-19 cases with 117 deaths, and 276 recoveries. Egypt leads in the total number of cases in the continent with 536 followed closely by Algeria with 409. Both countries have reported 30 and 26 deaths as well as 116 and 77 recoveries respectively, according to data published today by the Africa Centre for Disease Control (Africa CDC).
