WED, MARCH 18 2020-theG&BJournal-The Cameroonian Prime Minister has announced that as of March 18 all land, sea, and air borders are closed until further announcement due to COVID-19, as confirmed cases in the country rose to 10.
Countries like South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana and Algeria are some of the African countries that have so far imposed travel restrictions and the number is certain to grow in the coming days as cases continue to rise.
According to latest figures by the Africa Centre for Disease Control (Africa CDC), Africa confirmed cases reached 529 as at Wednesday morning in 31 countries. 13 patients have died while 41 have recovered.
