She is one of the top 10 finalist of CNN Heroes and Nigeria’s first. CNN Heroes was created by CNN to honour individuals who make extraordinary contributions to humanitarian aid and make a difference in their communities. Abisoye won this accolade as a result of her initiative – GirlsCoding, a free programme run by her Pearls Africa Foundation.
She shared the inspirational story of how she continues to put Nigeria and indeed Africa on the world stage for positive reasons.
