WED 10 NOV, 2021-theGBJournal- Former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, 61-year old Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) has won the Anambra State Governorship election,
His election was authenticated by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the wee hours of Wednesday 10 November, 2021.
‘’That Charles Chukwuma Soludo of All Progressive Grand Alliance, having satisfied the requirements of the law is hereby declared the winner and is returned elected,’’ INEC’s Chief Returning Officer for the poll, Professor Florence Obi said while announcing the outcome of the election.
Soludo secured 112,229 votes, twice more than his closest rival, Mr Valentine Ozigbo, to win the highly commended election.

– APC: 43,285
– APGA: 112,229
– PDP: 53,807
– YPP: 21,261
