Canadian aviation firm Avmax set for multi-million Naira investment in Medview Airline

    THUR, MAY 24 2018-theG&BJournal-Officials of Medview Airline Plc  say the airline Board have voted to allow Canadian aviation firm, AvMax make investments into the airline’s business to enable it expand its aircraft fleets.

    The  resolution followed a meeting of the Board of Directors of Medview Airline Plc held on the 15th of May 2018. Medview say the  investment will enable it acquire more fleets like the B777-200ER. The Airline is also angling to expand its local and international fleets with the intention to add 2 CRJ bombardier aircrafts for local and regional routes.

    AvMax which describes itself as a global team of passionate aviation experts are into aircraft leasing, avionics, airline operations and component repairs. Medview is hoping to tap into the company’s experience when it concludes the purchase of landed property at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport to start the business of maintenance, repair and over haul of aircrafts (MRO), which will be Medview hanger. The Airline also intend to start an approved training organisation to train cabin crew, engineers and pilot ground school as part of its major diversification drive.

    The Airline which Is listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange, (NSE) currently boosts of over 2 million passengers on its domestic routes and over 200,000 passengers on its international routes which includes London Heathrow and Dubai.

    Medview say the NSE and the general public will be adequately infromed as AvMax’s interest to invest in Medview Plc progresses.
