Bayern Munich midfielder Mario Gotze has been ruled out of Saturday’s German Cup final against former club Borussia Dortmund with a broken rib.
However, the club have confirmed the 23-year-old will be fit to play for Germany at Euro 2016.
The final at Berlin’s Olympic Stadium is Pep Guardiola’s last match as Bayern Munich boss before moving to Manchester City.
Bayern are looking for their third domestic double in four seasons.
Dortmund are the first German club to ever reach a major final in five consecutive years – although they have lost their last three.
They beat Bayern 5-2 in the 2012 final but then lost to their rivals in the 2013 Champions League final and the 2014 German Cup final.
Last year they lost to Wolfsburg 3-1 in Jurgen Klopp’s last game in charge.
If selected, it will be Mats Hummels’ last game for Dortmund before joining Bayern in the summer.
But future team-mate Robert Lewandowski said: “He’ll give 100% for BVB. He’s a complete pro.”
