WED, SEPT 27 2023-theGBJournal |A delegation of the Bauchi State Government that include top Govt officials and over 50 team of entrepreneurs led by Sen. Bala A Mohammed, the Executive Governor Bauchi State met with chinese Government officials and entrepreneurs led by Juan Xinyang (Deputy Mayor of Linyi) for Economic and Trade Conference between Linyi (Province of Shandong, PRC) and the Bauchi State Govt (Nigeria).
The aim is to establish an Economic synergy between Bauchi/Linyo City, friendly relationship, exchange ideas and come up with a formidable Business strategies that will enhance the economic growth and development of both parties.
This is part of the biggest commitment of H.E Bala Mohammed to attract international Investors to Bauchi State with the aim of making Bauchi a business friendly environment for Job creation, revenue generation and overall economic growth and sustainability.
Meanwhile, the Governor spoke about the profound significance of uniting people from diverse cities, states, and provinces.
”It is essential for us to look beyond our differences, believing that enhanced communication, cooperation, and mutual respect between China and African nations will be pivotal in areas of investment, development assistance, and initiative,” he said while speaking about Forum which he views as an avenue for us to open up, both as governments and as a collective people.
According to Bala Mohammed, Nigeria and Africa’s real strength lies in our rich diversity and the potential of uniting through a shared bond. This bond is pivotal in championing entrepreneurship and boosting business competitiveness, which is crucial for the economic growth of our regions.
”I would like to express my gratitude for China’s immense contributions to the development of Bauchi state and Nigeria at large. Our nations share a unique relationship founded on mutual respect. I urge increased dedication and commitment from governments at all tiers to nurture this relationship.
Together, we’ve marked an essential step forward by signing strategic framework agreements that encompass the agricultural and mining sectors. I am committed and enthusiastic about fostering collaboration, especially in the realms of farming and mining, for the betterment of our societies.”
