FRI OCT 03 2025-theGBJournal| The upcoming Bauchi State Economic and Investment Summit will showcase our state’s economic potential, highlight the role of the private sector in driving growth, and connect Bauchi to both national and global markets, says Governor Bala Mohammed who is on a roadshow to promote the Summit.
The Governor assured investors and partners during one of the stakeholders meeting of his commitment to making Bauchi a hub for business and investment.
”My administration has reformed land registration, strengthened security, promoted transparency, and intensified the fight against corruption to make Bauchi business-friendly,” he said,
He added, ”With robust legal frameworks in place to protect investors, and six years of infrastructure and governance reforms behind us, Bauchi is ready for economic transformation.”
With a population of over 10 million, most of them young people, and vast natural resources, Bauchi is uniquely positioned for growth.
”By harnessing and processing our resources locally, we can expand value chains, create jobs, and deliver sustainable prosperity,” Governor Mohammed said.
Meanwhile, the Governor has successfully overseen the construction of an International conference centre from inception.
He described the project as ”a dream realized.”
