Atedo Peterside resigns from Nigerian Breweries board

WED, APRIL 01 2020-theG&BJournal- Mr Atedo N.A. Peterside, Nigerian entrepreneur and founder of Stanbic IBTC has announced his resignation from the board of Nigerian Breweries Plc.
Peterside, in his resignation notice to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) Wednesday informed the company’s board that his resignation is to enable him focus fully on fulfilling the objectives of the Think Tank he recently set up, ‘’especially as the pandemic continues to escalate.’’
Following the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic, Mr. Peterside set up the Anap Foundation COVID-19 Think Tank.
He joined the Board on the 21st of August, 2008 and served as the Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and subsequently the Governance Committee during his time on the Board.
