MON, 11 JULY, 2022-theGBJournal| The All Progressives Congress (APC) North East Caucus is the latest in the growing number of prominent groups and personalities supporting the choice of Kashim Ibrahim Shettima as the running mate to the Party’s Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for the 2023 general elections.
The Caucus’ support was voiced by the Senate President, Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan, also its Chairman, today in a statement attesting that Senator Shettima is the ‘’right man for the job,’’ and that ‘’he will be an able and loyal lieutenant to our incoming President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.’’
‘’We as a Caucus pledge our full support to our candidates as we march again towards another resounding victory in the general elections,’’ Lawan said.
The Caucus described Shettima as a ‘’loyal committed member of our party.’’ They said Shettima has what it takes to be an excellent running mate to our flag bearer.’’
