MON, JUNE 19 2023-theGBJournal |A host of global business moguls including billionaires Aliko Dangote, Bill Gates and Bharti Mittal were at the Presidential Villa, Abuja for a meeting with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, today.
The United States Assistant Secretary of State, Geoffrey Praytt and the Group Chief Executive office of NNPC Limited, Mele Kyari were also at the Villa to see the President.
Bharti Mittal, the Chairman of Bharti Airtel Worldwide came to the villa in company of Airtel’s chief executive officer in Nigeria, Dr. Segun Ogunsanya and members of the company’s board.
Airtel has significant grip in Nigeria’s telecoms market.
Aliko Dangote, Africa’s richest man, coming off the launch of his multi-billion refinery, also visited as he continues his investment drive in the country.
Bill Gates, co-chair of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and founder of Microsoft arrived the Villa with Aliko Dangote.
Reports say Gate’s visit is line with his company’s drive to closely work with communities in the country and leaders to support innovation.
