FEBRUARY 17, 2017 – Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, has reacted to the Friday’s ruling by the Court of Appeal in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, which recognized Senator Ali Modu Sheriff as the legitimate Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
A three-man panel of judges in a unanimous decision agreed that the former Borno State Governor is the authentic National Chairman of the party.
The former Aviation Minister, who has often been critical of Modu Sheriff’s struggle to be the party’s National Chairman, mocked the judgment, calling it a victory for President Muhammadu Buhari.
Via his twitter handle, @realFFK, wrote, “The decision by the Court of Appeal in PH to recognise Senator Ali Modu Sheriff as the Nat. Chairman of the PDP is a victory for @MBuhari.”
