MON 22 NOV, 2021-theGBJournal- Danger was averted Monday after pilot of Air Peace flight P47159 from Owerri to Lagos skilfully diverted to Port-Harcourt and safely landed the aircraft while the passengers disembarked normally after a bird strike.
Air Peace said the bird strike seriously affected the parameters of one of the engines.
The airline’s management said in a statement that they have dispatched a rescue team and aircraft to airlift the passengers of the affected flight.
‘’Air Peace is committed to the highest standards of safety and will never compromise on this,’’ the management said.
