TUE, 06 OCT, 2020-theGBJournal-Africa Finance Corporation (AFC), a leading infrastructure solutions provider in Africa, will co-host the Nordic-African Business Webcast, in partnership with the Nordic Africa Business Association (NABA).
The Summit will focus on connecting Nordic and African business communities to further develop investment visibility across the African continent with notable participation from over 30 speakers, 4 plenary sessions, 12 parallel sessions and a virtual space for ample networking opportunities.
Samaila Zubairu, the Corporation’s CEO will preside over the opening session alongside H.E Ine Eriksen Søreide, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Norway, Dr. Amani Abou-Zei, Commissioner for Infrastructure and Energy, African Union Commission and Mr. Raymond Carlsen, CEO, Scatec Solar, AFC said today in a statement.
AFC will also participate in a plenary session on the topic: “Is the global supply chain realignment one of global crisis or local opportunity?” alongside notable panellists Oliver Andrews, Chief Investment Officer, AFC, Sir Paul Collier, Professor of Economics, University of Oxford, and Jens Thomassen, CEO of AP Capital.
The AFC will also lead the partnership and investment engagement session where the Corporation will showcase its business model and innovative de-risked approach, followed by a round table discussion led by Sanjeeve Gupta, Executive Director AFC.
The event will take place on Thursday, 8 October 2020.
