
FRI OCT 03 2025-theGBJournal| On the sidelines of the ongoing African Energy Week (AEW) taking place in Cape Town, South Africa, NNPC Ltd. co-hosted the NOC/IOC Business Roundtable with the African Energy Chamber (AEC).
Led by Mr. Udy Ntia, Executive Vice President, Upstream, the NNPC Ltd. delegation engaged senior government officials, industry leaders, and business executives to explore opportunities for collaboration, enhance trade and investment flows, and advance infrastructure financing on the continent.
The roundtable reinforced NNPC Ltd.’s leadership role in convening leading energy stakeholders and its commitment to fostering strategic, mutually beneficial partnerships that drive sustainable growth across the energy sector, while contributing to Africa’s broader quest for energy security and economic prosperity.

Earlier, Ntia, joined energy leaders, investors and policymakers on the “Invest in Nigeria” Panel.
The session explored opportunities in Nigeria’s upstream sector, including strategies for attracting capital, unlocking new reserves, and driving sustainable growth under the Petroleum Industry Act.
In his remarks, the EVP reiterated NNPC Ltd.’s commitment to strengthening partnerships, promoting transparency, and creating an enabling environment for investments aimed towards supporting Nigeria’s long-term energy security and economic development.
NNPC Ltd.’s participation underscored its alignment with the African Energy Transition Roadmap, reaffirming its commitment to fostering collaboration, attracting investment, and mobilizing technical expertise to deliver short, medium and long-term solutions for a resilient and sustainable energy future.
