THUR MAY 09 2024-theGBJournal| Hadi Sirika, former aviation Minister facing charges for alleged financial fraud, has been granted bail to the tune of N100 million at an Abuja Federal High Court.
His Bail today, follows his arraignment before Justice Sylvanus Oriji at the Court along with his daughter, Fatima, his son-in-law, Jalal Sule Hamma and a company named Al Buraq Global Investment Limited for what the government said, is corrupt practices involving about N2.7 billion.
Sirika, his daughter and son-in-law all pleaded not guilty to the six-count charges read out by the Judge.
Their respective lawyers consequently moved applications for their bail which was granted by the Judge and admitted them on a bail for N100 million and two sureties in like sum.
The Judge then fixed June 10th for the commencement of their trial.
