The Honourable Commissioner of Finance Shizzer Nasara Bada who represented His Excellency,Senator Uba Sani, the Governor of Kaduna State at the signing stated that the initiative was in line with Governor Sani’s pro-people style of governance and commitment to seeking climate friendly sources of energy in the face of environmental challenges.

“In the SDG Goals, the provision of clean energy is a key factor to development. The Solar for All Programme is a brilliant initiative of the Kaduna Power Supply Company to make life easier for our dedicated civil servants . It is our hope that we can expand this initiative to other residents as well,as it is all about accessibility to affordable energy.” the Commissioner stated.

“Nigeria is blessed with excess solar power that we have not tapped into. It is time that we look at renewable energy due to climate change.” She added.
