This is the first year that the AVCA Conference will include a Venture Capital (VC) Summit which will convene the pan-African VC ecosystem to discuss topical issues pertaining to early stage investing in Africa.

Building on successful global gatherings in Abidjan, Accra, Addis Ababa, Cairo, Cape Town, Lagos, Marrakech and Nairobi, the Pan-African industry association highlights opportunities for results in the fastest growing economies in Africa and accelerates the continent’s economic revival. World-class investors, business leaders, public figures and policymakers driving innovation through private investment on the continent will delve deep to chart the future of private equity and venture capital across dynamic economies and industries in Africa.

Industry, business and political leaders will meet in Dakar in person, joined by international participants connecting virtually. Organised and hosted by AVCA with the theme, Resurgence, Resilience and Results: Private Capital in Africa at a Crossroads, participants at the 2022 conference will examine the GP-LP landscape shaping current and future deal making.
