Access Bank Plc activates incident management protocols after employee tested positive for COVID-19

FRI, JUN 19 2020-theG&BJournal- Access Bank Plc immediately activated the company’s established incident management protocols after it confirmed an employee tested positive for mild symptom of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
The Bank said today that the infected employee working in their Yenagoa Branch in Bayelsa State is currently being treated.
‘’In line with our COVID-19 business continuity plan, we immediately activated our established incident management protocols. These include asking all staff of the branch to go on self-isolation and get tested while the branch and surrounding area undergoes a decontamination protocol,’’ the Bank said in a Statement made available to theG&BJournal.
‘’To ensure the safety of our customers, staff and community, we have notified customers who visited the branch to contact the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) and self-isolate.’’
The Bank urged customers of the affected branch to continue to carry out transactions using its alternative banking channels – *901# and AccessMore.
‘’Should you have any issues, please call our Contact Center or visit any of our other branches close to you,’’ the Bank advised.
