MON, JUN 15 2020-theG&BJournal-Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike today took to twitter to show support for Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki who was recently disqualified from contesting the Edo State Gubernatorial primaries by the All Progressives Congress screening Committee in the State.
‘’Obaseki was disqualified by someone who doesn’t have a certificate, what an irony!,’’ Wike wrote on his twitter in apparent reference to a key actor (names withheld) in the disqualification saga.
Obaseki met with Nyesom E. Wike of the opposition party Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Port Harcourt Sunday at the government house as part of the on-going consultation to determine his next political move. He has also hinted he will be meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari to discuss the unfolding saga.
