WED, APRIL 01 2020-theG&BJournal-Nigeria has recorded four new cases of coronavirus (COVID19), 3 in the FCT and 1 in Lagos, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said.
The new cases in Lagos take the state’s tally to 82. Confirmed cases in the FCT also notched up to 28 from 25.
As at 8 pm Tuesday, Oyo has 8 confirmed cases, Osun 5, Ogun 4 Kaduna-3 while Enugu, Bauchi, and Edo states have 2 cases each and Ekiti, Rivers and Benue have a confirmed case respectively.
The NCDC said Tuesday that contact tracing is ongoing to identify those who came in contact with confirmed cases in the country.
According to the NCDC, there are still thousands of contacts in Lagos and Abuja that require follow up and testing for 14 days and urged citizens to adhere to the restrictions in place.
