SAT, JAN 25 2020-theG&BJournal– Chairman of The All Progressive Congress (APC) in Akwa Ibom State, Ini Okopido said at a news conference Friday that it is dissatisfied with conduct of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the State and announced the withdrawal of the Party from Saturday’s rerun election in the State.
INEC’s resident commissioner, Mike Igini was specifically described as a ‘’bias’’.
‘’As far as we are concerned, Mike Igini has shown unprecedented bias,’’ he said. ‘’We know that he does not like APC in Akwa Ibom and if he conducts any election in the State the party will withdraw. Igini has not been fair to us,’’ he added.
