President Muhammadu Buhari is currently meeting behind closed doors with some leaders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The meeting has the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President, Bukola Saraki, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara and the National Chairman of APC, John Odegie-Oyegun in attendance. Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, Zamfara State Governor, Abdulaziz Yari and the Senate Leader, Ali Ndume were also in the meeting.
Also at the meeting are the Minister of Agriculture, Audu Ogbeh, Minister of Science and Technology, Ogbonnaya Onu, and former Minister of Information, Tony Momoh. APC Deputy National Chairman North, Shuaibu Lawali, and the Deputy National Chairman South Segun Oni were also in the meeting.
Though the agenda was not disclosed, it is believed to have trappings on some contemporary issues which included the 2016 budget, the menace of fulani herdsmen amongst others. The meeting was in progress at the time of filing this report.
