According to him “Every one of us have a role to play individually and collectively to make our nation better. We need to return to God, seek his face so that he will heal our land, this can be achieved if each and every one of us play our role through prayer and fasting, then God will hear our prayers and heal our land as stated in his words.”

He said there is no individual  too small to positively impact on the challenges faced by Nigeria currently ” so we need to play our role as Christians by always praying for our leaders and country for a better Nigeria rather than always complaining about the bad situation and our leaders.”

The Governor commended the Publisher of Our Daily Manna, Bishop Chris Kwakpovwe for his contributions in spreading the Word of God round the world and introducing Christians to ways of righteous living stressing that ” God will bless this effort you are making through your programmes to heal the land”

In a brief response, Bishop Kwakpovwe thanked the Governor Okowa for finding time to attend the two days programme in Asaba and prayed that God will take the centre pace in his administration.

He called on Deltans and Nigerians to stop complaining about the government of the day but to always pray for those in authority for God to continually direct  them and give them the necessary wisdom they need to pilot the affairs of the state/country for the benefit of all.
