THUR OCT 01 2026-theGBJournal| Tony Elumelu has increased his interest in Seplat Energy to 21.07% after a company he controls bought 6 million shares in the Nigerian energy producer, according to a company disclosure on Wednesday.
Heirs Energies Ltd, controlled by Seplat non-executive director Elumelu, now holds 27.94 million Seplat shares following the transaction.
Together with shares held by Heirs Holdings Ltd, entities controlled by Elumelu now own 126.4 million shares, based on Seplat’s issued share capital of 599.94 million shares.
