TUE. 21 MARCH 2023-theGBJournal | In its 21st year, the Annual AVCA Conference and VC Summit is returning to Cairo on 1 – 5 May 2023.

The major international gathering will be the latest edition of AVCA’s flagship forum and adds to successful global gatherings in Abidjan, Accra, Addis Ababa, Cape Town, Dakar, Lagos, Marrakech.

The pan-African industry association continues to showcase opportunities for business and investment in the most promising markets in Africa. World-class investors, business leaders, and public figures charting growth through private investment will explore the current state and future of private equity and venture capital across high-potential economies and sectors.

Capital allocators, policymakers and the wider private capital in Africa ecosystem will meet in Cairo in person as international participants join virtually.

Organised and hosted by AVCA, with the theme, Retrospection & Prospection: Transforming Africa through Private Capital, participants at the 2023 summit will discuss prospects for the region’s economic development, industrialisation and the GP-LP landscape influencing current and future deal-making during a time of ongoing energy and food crises.
