12 Finalists of UBA Foundation’s National Essay Competition 2020 named

WED, 18 NOV, 2020-theGBJournal-The finalists, young, brilliant Nigerians aged 14 to 18 years were announced today by UBA Foundation, the organisers of the prestigious National Essay Competition (NEC).
The NEC, an annual event now in its 10th year is targeted at senior secondary school students as part of UBA Foundation’s education initiative which is aimed at promoting the reading culture and encouraging healthy and intellectual completion amongst secondary students in Nigeria.
The grand finale will be held on Tuesday November 24, 2020.
‘’We are so proud of you all and anticipate the announcement of the top 3 at the grand finale,’’ UBA Foundation said.
The 12 finalists are Habeeba Abdulganiyu-International School, University of Lagos aged 14, Tamarapreye Dimaro-Eyes Of the Future School, Lagos aged 16, Enobong Flourish David-Federal Government Girls College, Akwa Ibom aged 16, Abasiekeme Eshiet-Bright Stars Model Secondary School Akwa Ibom aged 14, Marilyn Anya Ibem, Topfaith International School Akwa Ibom aged 14, Light E.C Chukwuma- Our Lady of Fatima College Rivers State aged 16 and
Others are, Emenugha Hannah Amarachi of Starville School, Abuja aged 14, Stephen Godsgrant Uzezi of Jakonde Comprehensive Senior College, Lagos aged 15, Mofoluwake Adesanya-Spring Forte-Lead College, Lagos aged 15, Regina Ugochukwu Nwabueze-De-Young Comprehensive College, Lagos aged 14, Ehibor Favour-District Senior College Meiran, Lagos aged 15 and Melvin-Damian Uchenna Ozoke-Federal Government Academy, Niger aged 16.
